Ethical TradingShop4Life is dedicated to implementing socially responsible policies of ethical trading, both for the environment and the wider community.Social and Environmental ObjectivesShop4Life will look to benefit our business by setting the following objectives:
Corruption and Bribery Overseas/At HomeShop4Life believes in our corporate responsibility of honest and transparent trading. Our aim is, and will always be, to maintain the highest standards of business integrity. As a Christian Company we would never knowingly act, in any way, to accept a bribe or participate in any corruption business practise. Shop4Life has a Gifts from Clients/Suppliers Policy to ensure that all of our employees are fully informed of their legal obligation to never accept any bribe, or participate in any corruption practise, as it is a crime under United Kingdom (UK) law. UK law makes it illegal to bribe foreign public or private officials, or office-holders. Any UK national, or company, can be prosecuted in the UK for this crime - even if no part of the offence took place in the UK. Our Gifts from Clients/Suppliers Policy clearly states for these purposes a "gift" is any payment or item given to an employee on an apparently ex-gratia basis by any party who is the Company's actual or potential client, customer or supplier. If you receive a gift, you must report this to your line manager as soon as it is given to you. If you fail to do so, this constitutes a disciplinary offence and will be dealt with in accordance with the Company's disciplinary procedure and could render the employee liable to summary dismissal... and more. Psalm 15:2 - "The one who walks with integrity, does what is righteous, and speaks the truth within his heart". "Lead by example and show others you care"Steven BillenManaging Director | Top |
